我选择的是第一题。我没有明确倾向于blessing 还是 disaster, 而是整体的两个都叙述了一下。
Nowadays, the world is advacing along with the technology. Everyone is using the internet these days. I always believe that the Internet is a double edged sword, to me, it has been both a blessing and a disaster. 
The Internet has been a blessing to the people because it offers a plethora of information and resources. The ubiquity of the Internet allows people to obtain the latest information regarding current events around the world from various news portal available, at their convenience. Hence, it is very useful and makes people updated. 
However, the Internet also can be a disaster to all people. As what i previously mentioned, the internet offers a plethora of information and resources, thus including illegal websites. The illegal informations might bring people using the Internet to be in danger. For example, there are more and more hackers these days. While people are using the Internet for entertainment or other uses, the hackers can easily hack into your computer without you noticing. Hence, it could be dangerous and a disaster to all people. 
To conclude, Internet has its pros and cons. We can use it freely to our own satisfaction; but we should never forget to be cautious when we are online, because danger is always at the side too.

Alex and Rody are of the same age and they are in the same English Corner. And Alex is a boy and Rody a girl. And both of them are 19 years old.
A: Hello! I’m Alex. Nice to meet you here in the english corner.
R:Same with me! And i’m Rody,R-O-D-Y. 
A:Well,to be honest, i’m a fresher here. It’s my first time to be in such a situation.
R: that’s all right. You will be okay after you have come here several times.
A:hope so! So what mostly are talked here?
R: Um....... You have me a big question. Topics here are so many,such as hobbies,movies,music and even love affairs. 
A:sounds great! Hey, do you love movies?
R: movies? Oh, can’t enough. I go to the movies at least twice a week! And the movies i have saw on my pc are not counted.
A: Wow....a big movie fan, aren’t you?
R: yeah, most of my friends have said so. But i think some of the movies are really interesting and some romantic and some educating enough to make me think about my own life and future.
A: i’m on you point. I love movies too, though not as crazy,if you don’t care,as you are.
R: and which movie is best in your favor?
A: Titanic! I can’t think out a better movie.
R: neither can i. Titanic is an absolute perfect movie with its famous actors and actresses and romantic plots, not to mention its excellent music.
A:so it is! And the biggest impression it left in my mind is the water scene in the end of the movie.
R: yeah, that scene is a road-stone of the movie development. And referring to water, can you swim?
A:Swim? Yes, i practiced swimming for the whole summer vacation last year.
R:and how fast can you swim now?
A: i think you’d better ask me how slow i can drink the water now. I’m not a gifted swimmer. May be i need more practice.
R: umm...i think so too.
(suddenly Alex's phone is on)
A:oh, i'm sorry, but i am wanted on the phone now.

  C: It is almost the most important part of managing money. “Asset allocation” is a very important aspect. The managers allocate the money among several asset classes. American securities, international securities, hedge funds, private equity, real estate…each one of those asset classes has a historical rate of return. Often the highest rate of return is from the riskiest class. Up 20% one year, and down 30% the next year. If one could put money there for 100 years and not worry about it, then you would put all your money in the asset class with the highest return. But most people have to live from year to year, from month to month. It is a matter of peace of mind. You don’t want to see your fortune drop 40% in a year. So you put some money in each of several asset classes to even out the risk and return. 
   You have to see how conservative your risk level is. That has often to do with age, dependents, children, other factors. Typical investment strategy for very wealthy people is to put money into a lot of different classes, managed by smart, honest professionals.

  Z: Warren Buffet shocked the world last year by donating 31 billion dollars to Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. In my opinion, this is the ultimate peak of the wealth. After creating wealth, adding value to wealth, then donate them. But from the company’s perspective, they probably still hope money can stay in their hands. Do you think there is a conflict?

  C: U.S. trust has a reputation for a high level of integrity. They do what their clients want them to do as long as it is legal. We have some clients who inherited money and want to give it all away. It is your right to give it all away, but then what are you going to live on? How you are going to pay rent and buy food? Some of them also want to give money to bad people. We would not be good advisors if we don’t counsel against that. 
   That’s an extreme situation. A more normal situation is that they want to take some of their money and do good things. They want to create a foundation, some sort of mixture of income or principal is given to education or research or other good cause. We will ask, do you want this foundation to go on forever or your lifetime or the next 10 or 15 years? Do you want your children to be involved? Some people want to use philanthropy to keep their family together, and to instill in the younger generation the goodness of charity. So they hire a professional trustee to execute the mission of the foundation. 
   Yes, there is a potential conflict, but people would stop using U.S. Trust if they thought the firm’s integrity was in doubt. So integrity is the most important historical quality of U.S. Trust. 

  Z: Last question. U.S. Trust also helps institutions to manage wealth. But we know great universities, like Harvard, Yale, or Duke already have their own money management companies. Do you compete with them? What sort of institutions you are taking care of?

  C: Collaboration would be the right word. Some schools manage all their money. But many also hire outside professionals. Other institutions don’t have an in-house management team. Only very large universities can afford to do that. 
  It is very rare for a person to be an expert in every asset class. You may want to hire an expert in corporate bonds, or in junk bonds, or in government bonds, or in non-US bonds. The more money you have, the more asset classes you will want to be in. A place like U.S. Trust can have experts in several asset classes. An institution can rely on us, so it doesn’t have to keep track of 20 different people, U.S. Trust will do that. Is this clear?

  Friendship can be pure. We hear , nowdays, however, how one can be cheated by friends. Many people get along with someone because they have a lot of money. It is doultful that is real friendship.
Having friends, one can be find happiness. If you are in trouble your friends will help you through or at least comfort you. When you are happy , they share it with you. They are also there for you to chat with at any time.
It is a wonderful feeling, as the proverb says" to love each other is easy but to make frieds is hard", So, it is crutial that we should get along with our friends. In my opinon ,it is a shame to deceive your friends . The world would be more beautiful if it was full of filled with friendship .
