悲哀的是，伤者第一时间指控施救人造成事故的情况并非闻所未闻。2006年南京就有一例。一个扶起年老妇女的人被首先指控为将其推到的人。
法院裁决这个年老妇女获得该事故的40000元的赔偿。除此之外，上海日报近期做了一项关于老年人摔倒是否该给予帮助的投票活动。百分之九十的人选择“否”，因为担心会惹上法律麻烦。
