While some of the new graduates choose to look for employment, the others opt for further studies. This article conducts an analysis on the impact of different academic qualifications (Bachelor, postgraduate, doctorate) on employment rate by applying the mathematical method of variance analysis and citing the graduates of Harbin Engineering University between 2003 and 2012 as an example, with the objective of offering a clearer and more perceptive choice to the new graduates through the result of this analysis.
